05SECURITY & PCI DSS

Advisory support with explicit security and compliance boundaries

Solvvit provides specialist analysis, recommendations, and design assurance. Advisory work supports informed decisions but does not replace customer governance, qualified assessments, or the approval authority responsible for the outcome.

Solvvit can support preliminary PCI DSS scoping discussions, account-data-flow mapping, responsibility analysis, gap identification, remediation planning, and evidence-readiness preparation. This advisory support is not a PCI DSS assessment, validation, attestation, or guarantee of compliance and does not replace an applicable qualified assessor or accepting authority.

  • Define relevant system, data, security, supplier, and operating boundaries
  • Separate applicable requirements from assumptions and advisory recommendations
  • Use traceable criteria for solution and supplier evaluation, with interests disclosed
  • Record material risks, decisions, exceptions, owners, and accountable approvals
Decision authority matters.

Recommendations provide decision support; they are not formal architecture, security, procurement, regulatory, PCI DSS, payment-network, or production approval. The customer and its designated approvers, assessors, networks, acquirers, processors, regulators, or other applicable authorities retain those decisions.

06ENGAGEMENT MODEL

Fit the advice to the decision and delivery horizon.

Delivered through focused advisory sprints, expert reviews, facilitated workshops, retained advisory, or design-assurance checkpoints. Scope may cover business, product, architecture, integration, operations, security, controls, suppliers, and transition planning. The customer retains decision, implementation, and risk ownership. When Solvvit products or services are among the options, that interest is disclosed and evaluation uses agreed criteria. Managed certification coordination can be commissioned separately through Solvvit Navigate.
